The Grand Ducal Palace is located in Luxembourg City. This palace is the home of Luxembourg’s Grand Duke and dates to the early part of the 16th century. Much of the palace features the same architecture from these years. Extensive renovations were conducted in the 1990s and added modern conveniences. The Grand Ducal Palace is also where the Grand Duke performs his duties as the head of state.

 
The story of how Tintin came to be is a bit of a mystery. The creator of the Belgium comic character was done by a little heard of comic writer Herge. In the end, he released very little information about the character. 

 
The Kremlin is located in Moscow, Russia and is actually a wonderful site to see. Today, it is a large group of buildings surrounded by a wall that was designed originally as a fortress of the medieval era. At one time, it was a fabled safe haven, a city by itself with a throng of palaces, arsenals, and churches. It is a kind of fortress from the Middle Ages that attaches the present nation to its heroic past. 

 
Located on the Avenue of the Constitution, in the Canary Islands of Santa Cruz stands a marvelous building called the Auditorio de Tenerife. Architect, Santiago Calatrava Valls successfully created a modern wonder of beauty and grace to look out over the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the beautiful city of Santa Cruz on the other. The building was started in 1997 and completed in 2003. It has had dignitaries such as President Bill Clinton (USA) to visit and is honored as one of the greatest works of architecture in Spain. It has been honored on stamps and is a symbol of late-modern architecture of the late 20th century for the city of Santa Cruz.
