The San Diego LGBT Pride festival is a two day event and is now known for being one of the biggest gay pride festivals in the Northern United States. The great thing about the locals is that they are very open-minded when it comes to sexuality and they do not discriminate or judge, in fact, they love to support this festival.
Last years festival was a huge hit with over 100,000 people in attendance and Kelly Rowland as a headliner. The event is known to have top-notch performers but the main attraction is always the Gay Pride Parade which is held on Hillcrest and Balboa Park.

This annual festival is from Saturday, 12pm to 10pm and Sunday, 11am to 8pm. You will get a better deal on tickets if you purchase a package deal. It costs $20 for a one day pass and $30 for a 2-day pass. Teens between the ages of 12-18 are $10 for one day and $20 for a weekend pass.
Children below 12 years of age get in for free. Because this is an outdoor event it is highly recommended that you pack a bottle of sunscreen, San Diego can reach temperatures exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit on summer days.
