Hundreds of different circus acts meet at the Chapiteau de Fontvielle to compete for the Gold and Silver Clown awards. There are live comedy acts, animal shows and acrobats competing against one another for the most difficult or creative awards. H.S.H. Princess Stephanie judges the event as she is currently the President of the festival along with her brother, H.S.H. Prince Albert II. Competitors from all over the world show off their fireworks display, offering free entertainment to residents and tourists alike. Winners of the competition return on November 18 to construct the National Holiday fireworks display.
